An Introduction to Yingli Solar Panels
Founded in 1998, Yingli Solar are one of China's largest and longest established solar panel manufacturers. The company has more than 6000 employees and more than 10 branch offices worldwide. Yingli Green Energy is publicly listed on the New York Stock Exchange (NYSE: YGE).
Yingli's polycrystalline solar cells have an average efficiency of over 16%. Assembled modules are fitted with an anodized aluminium frame that has been successfully tested to loads over 5400 Pa. As a result of cutting-edge manufacturing methods, highly automated production and stringent quality control, Yingli Solar offer a 25 year performance warranty on all modules.
Yingli manufacture polycrystalline silicon, ingots, wafers, cells and modules all under one roof. This ensures strict quality control for raw materials as well as the entire production process. Over the years, Yingli have made technological breakthroughs in surface reflection, diffusion uniformity, sheet resistance optimization, and contact resistance reduction.
Yingli Solar have achieved Social Accountability System (SA 8000) certification, which assures an international standardised code of conduct for improving working conditions around the world.
