The latest Doc Wattson digital meter provides a wide range of power metering functions at a previously unheard-of price. Using a processor based measurement system, the Doc Wattson meter not only shows live data, it also counts amp-hours over time, acting as a power datalogger.
The datalogging feature makes this meter an excellent choice for monitoring various aspects of a solar, wind or battery power systems. With a 50A continuous current rating, the unit is ideal for boats, caravans, motorhomes and all smaller power systems.
With one of these meters installed on the solar/wind input to the batteries and another on the load connection, it is possible to monitor just about every aspect of a DC power system. Stop messing around with inconvenient multimeters, volt meters and ammeters etc... this neat & compact unit does it all, and much more besides.
