Our new range of specially assembled solar pump kits listed below are ideal for pond fountains or garden water features. At the heart of each of our solar pump kits stands a high efficiency, low voltage water pump.
The SXT series of pumps are manufactured to an unusually high standard, with ceramic bearings and motor which starts with very little power. The low start-up power draw ensures the pump stays active longer than normal in shaded or cloudy conditions.
We can supply a complete solar pump kit, or if you already have a suitable 12v+ solar panel, simply the pump. Our custom built solar pumping kits are very simple to install.
To be able to choose a pump you need to know how many litres per hour you expect to see flowing out of your water feature, and how high does the pump have to lift the water. Please refer to the pump performance charts to establish which pump you need, or contact us for help.
Like most solar pump kits, these particular kits are 'direct drive', i.e. they only pump when there is enough light hitting the solar panel. The larger the solar panel, the less daylight is required to get the pump going. Therefore in the UK it makes sense to oversize the solar panel.
